Representing KTS-RFID and 24Linen at the DTV Members' Assembly in Frankfurt

German Textile Cleaning Association

On 20 September 2024, G&E Sales had the privilege of representing KTS-RFID and their innovative 24Linen concept at the annual Members' Assembly of the DTV — Deutscher Textilreinigungs-Verband (German Textile Cleaning Association), held at the Scandic Frankfurt Hafenpark.

The DTV Members' Assembly is one of the most important institutional gatherings in the German textile care industry. Bringing together association leadership, member companies, and key industry stakeholders, it is the central forum where the sector reviews its performance, shapes its strategic direction, and lays the groundwork for the year ahead. Being present at this assembly — and representing KTS-RFID within it — was a meaningful opportunity to engage with the heart of the industry.

What the Assembly Covered

The 2024 programme was comprehensive, reflecting the breadth of the DTV's responsibilities as the leading voice of the textile care sector in Germany.

The assembly opened with a welcome address by the DTV President, followed by a formal business report from the Executive Director covering the association's activities and developments over the past year. Delegates then received updates from the association's working committees, as well as a dedicated report from TATEX — the collective bargaining arm of the sector — delivered by the designated spokesperson.

The financial portion of the agenda included a presentation of the 2023 profit and loss statement and balance sheet, delivered by the DTV Treasurer, followed by a report from the Audit Committee and the formal discharge of the Presidium and management. Looking ahead, the assembly also addressed the 2025 budget plan and the membership fee structure for the coming year.

The programme concluded with elections — both for the DTV Presidium and the Audit Committee — ensuring continuity and leadership for the association in the year ahead.

Why G&E Sales Was There — and Why It Mattered

For KTS-RFID, the DTV Members' Assembly represented exactly the kind of high-value, targeted engagement that drives meaningful business development. The room was filled with decision-makers from across the German textile care industry — laundries, textile service providers, hotel and hospitality supply chains, and institutional operators — precisely the audience that stands to benefit most from what KTS-RFID and 24Linen offer.

The 24Linen concept — built on state-of-the-art RFID technology — addresses a core operational challenge for this industry: the need for greater efficiency, traceability, and transparency in linen supply and management. In a sector where margins are tight and operational accuracy is critical, intelligent textile tracking is not a luxury. It is an infrastructure decision that directly impacts profitability and service quality.

By representing KTS-RFID at the DTV assembly, G&E Sales was able to introduce these solutions to several stakeholders. The conversations that took place — both during the formal programme and in the networking that surrounds events of this kind — are important for long-term commercial relationships.

Building Presence in the Right Rooms

One of G&E Sales' core strengths is identifying the right forums for our partners — the events, associations, and industry gatherings where presence translates into credibility, visibility, and genuine opportunity. The DTV Members' Assembly was precisely that kind of room for KTS-RFID.

Although this industry is highly competitive, it was beneficial for KTS-RFID to be present and demonstrate its commitment. This positions the company as a serious long-term participant in the sector and opens doors to relationships with commercial partners and institutional bodies that shape the regulatory and standards environment in which companies operate.

Setting foot in the door is the first step

G&E Sales remains committed to supporting KTS-RFID's continued growth in the German market and beyond. The DTV Members' Assembly in Frankfurt was one step in a broader strategy of targeted market engagement — and the connections established there will continue to develop in the months ahead.

We look forward to what comes next for KTS-RFID and 24Linen, and we are proud to be part of their international growth journey.
